Local Enterprise Partnership
Thames Valley Berkshire LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership)
believes in collaborative momentum. The aim is to bring
together all parts of the Thames Valley Berkshire sub-region
- business, the public sector, education and the broader
community - to drive the local economy to whole new levels.
As part of the wider Thames Valley economic region,
Berkshire serves a sub-region second only to Greater London
in output, with a GVA of £27bn per annum. The Strategic
Economic Plan (SEP), sets out the vision and business
priorities for economic growth in Thames Valley Berkshire.
Importantly, it aims to achieve value for local tax-payers
and deliver on the plan.
Publicly funded and government-endorsed, the LEP operates
as a company limited by guarantee. It is a strategic body led
by an executive board of directors with a leading local business
figure in the chair.
The LEP aims to accelerate the pace of growth and change.
The more organisations and people they can involve, the
more energy they can invest, so the better Thames Valley
business will be.
